Abstract
Fifty eyes with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment associated with proliferative diabetic retinopathy were treated surgically. Follow-up examination was from six months to 14 years with an average of 33 months. Successful reattachment of the retina was achieved in 74% of the cases, and visual acuity was preserved or improved in 60%.Entities:
