Abstract
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection is a rare cause of acute myocardial infarction and sudden death. We report a case of diffuse spontaneous left coronary artery dissection occurring in the postpartum period, successfully treated by multiple stent implantation. Coronary angiography performed 3 months later showed no evidence of dissection and TIMI flow grade 3 in the treated coronary arteries. At 12-month follow-up the patient was asymptomatic.Entities:
