Abstract
Periportal lesions were detected on ultrasound in two cases of Langerhans cell histiocytosis with liver involvement. Hypoechoic or hyperechoic lesions were detected in different stages of evolution. Hyperechoic lesions probably corresponded to periportal inflammation whilst hyperechogenicity suggested xanthomatous change.Entities:
