Abstract
We are faced with the challenge of treating, palliating, or curing esophageal cancer, considered by some to be the most insidious of cancers. This article acquaints the reader with historic milestones regarding resection of esophageal cancer, preoperative evaluation and preparation, and the various techniques currently being used to perform esophagectomy for cancer.Entities:
