Pregnancy in patients with renal disease. A study of 44 cases.

R A Bear.

Abstract

A study of 37 pregnant patients with renal disease is presented in an effort to gauge the effect of gestation on renal function and to establish guidelines for effictively managing pregnancy in these patients. Serum creatinine determinations as indicators of maternal well-being are proposed as the basis for deciding to continue or terminate the pregnancy.
