Abstract
A review is given of otitis media in northern native populations, including incidence, natural history, the effects on the individuals affected, and what is known of causative factors. A brief account of tympanoplasty is presented, followed by a description of the method used at the Charles Camsell Hospital, and the results obtained. Suggestions are made for improved follow-up and a plea is made for improved home conditions for the native population.Entities:
