Abstract
Renewed optimism for the treatment of HIV infection has arisen with the advent of potent antiretroviral cocktails which, for many patients, provide sustained control of viral replication, and enable at least partial immune regeneration and improved quality of life. Proteinase inhibitor drugs, such as saquinavir, represent the key agents for attaining the new therapy goals.Entities:
