Abstract
We report herein our technique of performing stapled fistulectomy as minimum surgery for the resection of nine entero-enteric fistulas in six patients with Crohn's disease. The surgical outcome was successful in all patients. It would seem that fistulous sites without a severe affected lesion are a favorable indication for this procedure and we recommend this simplified fistulectomy for selected conditions in Crohn's disease.Entities:
