Abstract
In this article, the clinical, angiographic, and postmortem features of unstable angina are reviewed and its pathogenesis is discussed. Coronary plaque inflammation may play a key role in the pathogenesis of unstable angina and the evidence for this assertion is examined. Finally, the therapeutic implications of the involvement of inflammation in acute coronary syndromes are outlined.Entities:
