Abstract
Nail abnormalities may be markers of non-dermatologic disease. We present a case in which pronounced pincer nails and universal alopecia developed in association with a metastasising adenocarcinoma of the sigmoid colon. It is suggested that this association represents a new ectodermal paraneoplastic syndrome.Entities:
