A lectin in Nemopanthus mucronatus to papain treated porcine erythrocytes.

Abstract

Extracts of the mountain holly, Nemopanthus mucronatus, contained an agglutinin to papain treated porcine erythrocytes but not untreated or neuraminidase treated cells. Human erythrocytes similarly treated did not react.
