Localization of a new neuroleptic in the pituitary gland of the rat.

Abstract

The 14C-labelled, substituted benzamide neuroleptic Tiapride has been found to accumulate transiently in the pituitary gland of the rat following a single dose, and a prolonged retention of the drug was observed in the pars intermedia.
