Abstract
We report the results of three patients (four feet) who had surgical correction of adolescent flatfeet performed over fifty years ago. The surgery involved medial column stabilization with fusion procedures and tibialis anterior transposition into the navicular (Young's tenosuspension procedure). In this small sample, we found a high rate of painful arthrosis that developed over time in the contiguous joints of the foot.Entities:
