Abstract
In the patient with rheumatoid arthritis, involvement of the hindfoot is common. If conservative management fails, surgical treatment should be considered before the development of a fixed deformity. In patients with isolated talonavicular disease, arthrodesis of this joint provides excellent pain relief and seems to prevent future deformity.Entities:
