Abstract
A 64-year-old male was admitted to our hospital complaining of right back pain. He had squamous cell carcinoma located at lower lobe of right lung involving the diaphragm and liver, pointed out by chest CT. Main tumor, the lateral chest wall, the posterior side of the diaphragm and the posterior side of the liver (S7) were resected. This patient has survived without any recurrences for 5 years and 10 months after operation. It is important not to hesitate in performing combined resections, even if the advanced lung cancer has invaded into the liver. Because the long-term survival might be achieved.Entities:
