Abstract
The current technical and methodological status of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is reviewed. The mechanisms underlying the effects of deoxyhemoglobin concentration and cerebral blood flow changes are discussed, and methods for monitoring these changes are described and compared. Methods for post-processing fMRI data are outlined. Potential problems and solutions related to vessels and motion are discussed in detail.Entities:
