Abstract
Blood sampling by percutaneous cardiac puncture was carried out in 69 domestic pigs. The procedure was shown to be safe and to produce reproducible data. The technique can be carried out without anaesthesia. Repeated sampling is possible over minutes, hours or days, and a wide range of sample volumes can be achieved by this technique.Entities:
