Abstract
Carcinoma of the prostate appearing as a primary rectal tumor is more common than generally realized. Multiple biopsies with special stains and complete urologic investigation may be necessary before its prostatic origin can be established. The importance of making the proper diagnosis is underlined by the differences in treatment for the two lesions.Entities:
