Abstract
The reasons for improvement in mortality after abdominal aortic aneurysmectomy in 144 consecutive patients are assessed. Elective aneurysmectomy carried a mortality of 5.7 percent. The deaths were all attributable to myocardial infarction occurring in patients with known coronary artery disease.Entities:
