Abstract
An MR examination in a patient with neurosarcoidosis showed an intrasellar cystic mass extending into the suprasellar space. The wall of the mass was thick, it enhanced after administration of contrast material, and it extended into the infundibulum and hypothalamus. Pathologic findings showed noncaseating granulomatous inflammation; the cystic component was considered to be ischemic necrosis of the intracranial sarcoid mass.Entities:
