Abstract
Surgical correction of partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage is difficult and may be complicated by acquired postoperative stenosis at the site of reimplantation of the pulmonary veins in the left atrium. Diagnosis should be made quickly because of the very poor prognosis due to acute pulmonary hypertension. The case described by the authors underlines the value of multiplane transesophageal echocardiography with two-dimensional and Doppler analysis for rapid and accurate diagnosis of this complication.Entities:
