Primary retroperitoneal teratoma in an adult: a case report.

Abstract

A primary retroperitoneal teratoma is a relatively rare neoplasm in adults. We report 1 such case evaluated by CT and MRI scans. The preoperative MRI was important in that it delineated the precise position of the tumor relative to the surrounding organs.
