Abstract
A rare case of vulvovaginal tuberculosis is reported. A 76-year-old woman presented with a painful ulcer at the posterior fourchette and lower vagina for 6 weeks. Direct biopsy for histologic examination revealed mycobacterial infection. Anti-tuberculosis treatment was effective for this patient. We suggest prompt biopsies for suspicious vulvar or vaginal lesions.Entities:
