Abstract
Parents' beliefs about locus of control in relation to their children were measured. Previous studies have failed to find a relationship between parental locus of control and children's locus of control. The results of this study indicate that an external parental locus of control was related to children's attributing their successes and failures to unknown causes. There was also a strong correlation between parental locus of control and children's behavior toward the parent.Entities:
