Abstract
A case of schistosomiasis is described in a native of Rio de Janeiro, where, apart from infection of the intestines, a meningitic granulomatous reaction was provoked around eggs. Intracerebral and subsequently subarachnoid hemorrhage occurred. The mode of infection is disucssed.Entities:
