Abstract
Powered instrumentation represents the newest advance in endoscopic sinus surgery. These instruments can be used in a variety of areas of the nose and paranasal sinuses. They can be particularly helpful for sinus surgery in children, who have smaller anatomic spaces and closer proximity of vital structures. The shaving action combined with continuous real-time suction of the soft-tissue shavers can provide the technical advantage to allow greater precision and ease in performing pediatric endoscopic sinus surgery.Entities:
