Abstract
An acute presentation of the superior mesenteric artery syndrome was diagnosed in a 13-year-old Chinese boy in whom no predisposing cause was found at surgery. Duodenogram combined with dynamic computed tomography, including 2-dimensional multiplanar reconstructions, was useful in confirming the diagnosis prior to definitive surgery.Entities:
