Trigeminal sensory symptoms associated with hydrocephalus.

R S Maurice-Williams, J Pilling.

Abstract

In three patients, trigeminal sensory symptoms remitted with treatment of associated hydrocephalus, two with facial pain resembling trigeminal neuralgia, and one with facial paraesthesiae. The pathological basis of these phenomena and their relationship to idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia are discussed.
