Group VE-2 (Chromobacterium typhiflavum) bacteremia.

F D Pien.

Abstract

Group VE-2 (Chromobacterium typhiflavum) bacteremia occurred in a severely traumatized, post-neurosurgical patient. A discussion of the clinical occurrence of the organism, bacteriological characteristics, and antibiotic sensitivities is presented.
