Abstract
We report a case of a survivor who suffered a complete traumatic disruption of the cervical trachea associated with multiple organ injuries. She underwent an emergent operation including end-to-end anastomosis of the disrupted trachea with pedicled omental coverage to prevent dehiscence and mediastinitis. The postoperative course was uneventful, with hospital discharge on day 36. She returned to her previous lifestyle.Entities:
