Abstract
Serum beta-2 microglobulin levels were measured in normal individuals and in breast cancer patients. It was observed that there was a significant rise in levels especially in advanced stages of the disease. It was concluded that patients with a beta-2 microglobulin/creatinine ratio of greater than 3.8 were likely to have metastatic breast cancer.Entities:
