Digitalis effect and blood concentration.

Abstract

Comparing cardial and extracardial effects of digitalis with corresponding digoxin blood concentrations, we determine the therapeutic range of glycosides. These studies are based on 1109 determinations in 317 patients with heart failure. The clear intoxication limit is above 2.0 ng/ml.
