Abstract
Intrapericardial aneurysm of the left atrium is a rare cardiac anomaly. We present a 10-year-old girl in whom the diagnosis was made following referral for an abnormal configuration of the left heart border seen on chest radiography. Diagnosis was made by echocardiography, but magnetic resonance imaging defined the exact morphology and the relation to adjacent structures. Surgical removal of this aneurysm is recommended because of potentially serious complications.Entities:
