Abstract
Familial atrial myxomas may present as a component of the Carney complex, an autosomal dominant multiple neoplasia and lentiginosis syndrome. Although a gene defect for the Carney complex in some families maps to chromosome 2p, this syndrome is genetically heterogeneous, and other genetic loci also produce familial atrial myxomas.Entities:
