Abstract
Clozapine often causes low-grade fever and less frequently spiking fever. We describe three cases of spiking fever that occurred in the first 3 weeks of clozapine therapy. A new set of side effects of clozapine is identified, which includes spiking fever, respiratory and gastrointestinal symptoms, and neutrophilia. Possible mechanisms are discussed.Entities:
