Abstract
A case report is presented of a female adolescent with a Class II, division 1 malocclusion that shows a significant mandibular arch length deficiency. Although the facial balance suggested a nonextraction approach, the degree of mandibular anterior dental crowding and preexisting gingival recession indicated extraction in the mandibular arch might be preferable.Entities:
