Abstract
Fungi must grow into the air for reproduction and spore dispersal, and to do this their hyphae contain morphogenetic proteins that respond to the aerial environment. The recent discovery of 'repellent' proteins, however, suggests fungi have more than one mechanism for aerial development.Mesh:
