Abstract
The diagnosis of sarcoidosis in patients with disseminated histoplasmosis remains controversial. It has been suggested that the immune abnormalities in sarcoidosis predispose one to disseminated histoplasmosis. Two cases have been reported that indicate a possible relationship between the two diseases. This is a case of sarcoidosis complicated with disseminated histoplasmosis in which the controversial relationship between the two diseases is emphasized and the available medical literature is reviewed.Entities:
