Abstract
Different extracellular matrices have helped in the study of angiogenesis. One, Matrigel (an extracellular matrix prepared from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm murine sarcoma), induces endothelial cells to differentiate into blood capillaries. This interpretative review attempts to discuss the recent advances concerning the study of endothelial differentiation with Matrigel in terms of scientific relevance.Entities:
