Abstract
Thermal injuries occurred in three women after hysteroscopic rollerball endometrial ablation. Possible mechanisms of injury included insulation failure of the rollerball to the sheath of the resectoscope, current division with the sheath acting as an alternate return electrode, and capacitative leakage of current from the active electrode to the sheath.Entities:
