Laparoscopic resection of a heterotopic cornual pregnancy followed by term vaginal delivery.

G A Vilos1.

Abstract

A cornual heterotopic pregnancy, with positive fetal heart, was successfully sutured and resected using laparoscopic techniques, at approximately 7.5 weeks' gestation. The coexistent intrauterine pregnancy was induced at approximately 37.5 weeks' gestation for mild growth restriction, mild oligohydramnios, and decreased fetal body movements. The patient vaginally delivered a live female after approximately 2 hours of uneventful labor.
