Abstract
A 24-year-old primiparous woman had an 18 x 5-cm, left adnexal cyst at 8.5 weeks' gestation. The cyst's dimension remained unchanged over the next 4 weeks. During laparoscopy at 15.5 weeks' gestation, the cyst and its contents were judged to be benign, and a left salpingo-oophorectomy was performed. Pathology revealed a serous cystadenoma of the ovary. The patient was discharged from the hospital within 48 hours. Her pregnancy progressed uneventfully to term, and she delivered vaginally a live male weighing 3240 g.Entities:
