The importance of the physical examination.

Although the presentation of a patient with wrist complaints is a common occurrence for many hand surgeons, the diagnosis may not be arrived at very easily or quickly. The physical examination is therefore of chief importance as our knowledge of the wrist and wrist surgery continues to increase.
