Abstract
We report a case of salmonella spondylitis in an adolescent without sickle cell disease or any history of salmonella gastroenteritis. The infecting organism (cultured from material aspirated from the bone lesion) was Salmonella enterica serovar Newport. With nonoperative treatment, evolution was favorable.Entities:
