Abstract
The occurrence of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and multiple myeloma (MM) in a single individual is rare, and the clonal relationship between the two neoplasms is unclear. We describe here a patient with CLL who developed symptoms of MM while responding to experimental therapy with interleukin-4 (IL-4). This patient was treated with 2-chlorodeoxyadenosine (2-CDA), and had a response in both malignancies.Entities:
