Abstract
While there are enormous bodies of literature that separately address adult learning theory and HIV disease education, there is a scarcity of literature that examines the way adult learning theory and education about HIV disease intersect. The author's focus is on successful, creative methods of combining these bodies of information in order to provide continuing education for health professionals. A review of the literature combined with the reported experience of AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETCs) from across the country identify useful strategies for successful HIV education.Entities:
