Abstract
Case report of a giant retroperitoneal liposarcoma which presented with a picture of acute abdomen resulting from a massive tumoral haemorrhage. Diagnosis was achieved by ECO and CT, and was confirmed by Pathological Anatomy. Treatment was surgical, performing tumour removal plus polar nephrectomy of the affected side. The patient evolution was favourable. The standard methods of diagnosis and prognostic factors are commented.Entities:
