Coronary thrombosis associated with inherited protein S deficiency: a case report.

S Beattie1, M Norton, D Doll.

Abstract

Protein S deficiency (PSD) may be associated with thrombotic events, including venous and arterial thrombosis. Most commonly, superficial and deep venous thrombosis have been noted. We report a case of acute myocardial infarction resulting from coronary thrombosis in a young male with PSD.
