The histochemistry of colonic mucins.

C F Culling, P E Reid.

Abstract

This presentation could perhaps better be titled the histochemistry of colonic mucins, as based upon PAS reactivity, since it mainly concerns development of methods for the identification of the various patterns of o-acylation of sialic acid as measured by alteration in PAS staining.
