Abstract
The endorectal pull-through procedure described by Soave and subsequently modified by Boley to include primary coloanal anastomosis is one of the most commonly performed procedures for Hirschsprung's disease. The Boley modification carries a 5-10% risk of dehiscence of the colo-anal anastomosis. This is generally treated with proximal colonic diversion and delayed revision of the pull-through. We report the use of the original Soave procedure to treat this complication.Entities:
